The idea of Barefoot shoes is a bit oxymoronic to be sure.

However, when it comes to being good to your feet and making the right choice for your body (i.e. going barefoot) yet still being protected from all of the dangerous stuff in our man made environments (glass, nails, other nasty stuff) barefoot shoes are the way to go.

Check out the barefoot shoe options currently available.

Hope you’ve enjoying a spectacular 2010 so far.

I don’t know about you, but I’m going to try as hard as I can

to make this year my best year ever.

In order to do that I’ve been looking back on 2009

to see what valuable lessons I’ve learned, so I can better

help you achieve your health, fat loss, and body transformation goals.

I hope you do the same and leave your best lessons from 2009

in the comments section below, maybe you’ll help someone

avoid learning their lessons the hard, slow, and painful way.

IMPORTANT NOTE: True Learning results in behavior change,

if there’s no behavior change it’s just fact collecting,

which does not accomplish anything.

I know this because I’ve spent a lot of time “fact collecting”

with nothing to show for it.

Applying just one good lesson from 2009 will matter so much

more than memorizing your lessons and thinking about them.

1.  You don’t have to do it on your own – as a matter of fact

I think it’s impossible to do it on your own.

2.  Your imagination is your most powerful, exiting, and

fun workout tool.

The New Year’s Resolution is dead. It hasn’t ever existed for that matter. If it did, we’d be the
fittest instead of the fattest nation on earth. We’d also all be millionaires. And I’d have a
girlfriend.

Have you caved in to a piece of chocolate cake after hearing these words “Oh c’mon, just have ONE piece”, or maybe “Live a little why don’t you!”?

Here are a few ways to deal with some of the “fat anchors” in your life…those would be the people that you love who unknowingly sabotage your efforts to lose weight and live healthier.

1. Remember that most people are scared to do what you are doing.

They’re upset that they don’t have the drive to make a commitment to bettering their own lives. Just remember that you were probably there once too, and that you can be a source of inspiration for them.

Avoid being accusatory, show them the light, and if they’re worth their salt they will ask you how they can get some momentum for themselves.

Keep Your Pipes Clean

Written By Casey Pfeifer

Don't tow this around with you.
Don’t tow this around with you.

Keeping things moving (you know what I mean) is critical to maintaining healthy weight loss. If things are moving through too fast, you’re getting nutritionally short changed. If things are stagnant and moving too slow, you’re getting a toxic build up in your colon and probably experiencing some bad gas. Your morning visit to the porcelain throne should be pleasant, nay, a joyous event! Here are 4 ways you can keep the pipes clean.

1. Stay hydrated! Make sure you are drinking enough water every day. How much is enough for you? A good estimate is to consume half your body weight in ounces of water a day. So if you weigh 180 pounds, you need approximately 90 ounces of water a day. Half of that can be drunk, and the other half can be consumed in fruits and vegetables.

2. Include raw foods in each meal. No, sushi doesn’t count! Try to get a raw fruit or vegetable in each meal. With breakfast, get some fresh fruit. At lunch, make salad the star of your meal. At dinner, have some raw (and cooked) vegetables with your meal. Raw fruits and vegetables will provide lots of water and fiber, both essential to keeping things running on time on the inside!

3. Add some ground flax seed to your diet. Not only a great source of fiber, but you’ll also be getting a good dose of Omega 3’s! You can put them in oatmeal, sprinkle them on salads, or put them in smoothies.

4. If you’re really having a hard time try this recipe. It’s called “Bombs Away” for a good reason.
